Quick and crispy chicken tenders made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Marinate chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off.
- Dredge chicken strips in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Spray chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray.
- Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Serve with dipping sauces like honey mustard or barbecue sauce.
