Description
Quick and delicious meatball subs made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mold mixture into 12 meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- Warm marinara sauce in a saucepan.
- Split hoagie rolls and place 3 meatballs in each roll.
- Top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return subs to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add red pepper flakes for spice.
- Garnish with extra parsley for presentation.
