Ingredients

- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each tofu piece in the cornstarch mixture.
- Dip the coated tofu into soy sauce, then roll them in breadcrumbs.
- Drizzle olive oil over the nuggets.
- Place tofu nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate tofu in soy sauce for 30 minutes before coating.
- Try different seasonings like nutritional yeast or cayenne for a spicy kick.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
