Description
Quick and delicious air fryer turkey burgers cooked in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 whole wheat burger buns
- 4 slices of your choice cheese
- Fresh lettuce and tomato for topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into four equal patties.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Add cheese slices in the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble burgers with buns, lettuce, and tomato.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the turkey mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Substitute turkey with lean ground chicken if desired.
