A modern twist on traditional baklava, these air fryer baklava bites are crispy, flaky, and filled with rich flavors.

- 1 package phyllo dough (16 oz)
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix walnuts, pistachios, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush with melted butter.
- Layer another phyllo sheet on top and brush with butter again.
- Put 1 tablespoon of the nut mixture at one end and fold the dough over the filling.
- Roll the phyllo tightly to form a bite-sized log.
- Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
- Place the bites in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine honey and water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove baklava bites from the air fryer and drizzle with the honey mixture while they are still warm.
Notes
- You can substitute nuts based on preference.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of orange blossom water to the honey syrup.
- Let the bites cool before serving for best texture.
