Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough (16 oz)
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix walnuts, pistachios, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a flat surface and brush with melted butter.
  4. Layer another phyllo sheet on top and brush with butter again.
  5. Put 1 tablespoon of the nut mixture at one end and fold the dough over the filling.
  6. Roll the phyllo tightly to form a bite-sized log.
  7. Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
  8. Place the bites in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  9. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine honey and water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove baklava bites from the air fryer and drizzle with the honey mixture while they are still warm.

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of orange blossom water to the honey syrup.
