- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush meatballs with BBQ sauce.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the mixture.
- You can use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Experiment with different BBQ sauces for varied flavors.
