Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu (14 oz), pressed and cubed
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until evenly coated.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tofu and toss to coat.
- Place the tofu in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked tofu with buffalo sauce, tossing to coat.
- Return the coated tofu to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, increase the air frying time by 2-3 minutes.
- Experiment with different hot sauces for varying heat levels.
- Serve with celery sticks and vegan ranch for a complete dish.
