A simple and tasty air fryer empanadas recipe for a delicious snack.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Add cold water gradually and knead into a dough.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté onions until translucent. Add ground beef and cook thoroughly.
- Roll out dough and cut into circles.
- Place filling on half of each circle and fold over, sealing the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place empanadas in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Customize filling with vegetables or different proteins.
- Serve with salsa or dipping sauce.
