- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup gochujang
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
- Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more gochujang or a splash of sriracha.
- Experiment with different marinades for varied flavors.
- Serve with a side of pickled vegetables for contrast.
