- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 mini hot dogs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Insert toothpicks into mini hot dogs.
- Dip each hot dog into batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Place coated hot dogs in air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from air fryer and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the batter.
- Serve with mustard or ketchup for dipping.
