- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice a pocket into each chicken breast for stuffing.
- Stuff each pocket with mozzarella cheese.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Dip the stuffed chicken in the beaten egg.
- Coat the chicken with a mixture of breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
- Place the chicken in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Serve with marinara sauce on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for 30 minutes before stuffing.
- You can add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the cheese filling for variation.
