Description
A sweet and tangy treat made with air-fried orange slices, coated in a sugary glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 large oranges
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Slice the oranges into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium until sugar dissolves.
- Add orange slices to the saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove the slices and place them on a wire rack to cool.
- Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
- Arrange the cooled orange slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are dried and slightly caramelized.
- Let the slices cool before serving.
Notes
- For variation, try adding cinnamon or nutmeg to the sugar mixture.
- Garnish with mint leaves for a fresh touch.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
