- 1/2 cup milk

- 1 can pineapple slices, drained
- Maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- In a cake pan that fits your air fryer, melt the brown sugar and arrange the pineapple slices at the bottom.
- Pour the batter over the pineapple slices.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
- You can substitute fresh pineapple for canned.
