- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove wings from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small pot, heat the remaining marinade until boiling. Mix cornstarch with water in a separate bowl and add to the pot, stirring until thickened.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- Brush the thickened glaze over the cooked wings before serving.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
