Ingredients

- 1 block firm tofu (14 oz), drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the drained tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Add tofu cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss again to ensure an even coating.
- Drizzle olive oil over the tofu and mix gently.
- Place the coated tofu cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the tofu for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Experiment with different spices like chili powder or nutritional yeast.
- Serve with a dipping sauce like sriracha or tahini.
