A rich and creamy amaretto cheesecake with a buttery crust and a hint of almond flavor.

- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and mix until combined.
- Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add sour cream, amaretto, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
- Gradually add flour and mix until fully incorporated.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add 1/2 cup melted chocolate to the filling.
- Top with whipped cream and toasted almonds for garnish.
- Use a water bath to prevent cracking.
