- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 medium apple, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
- Buns and toppings of choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Assemble the burgers on buns with your choice of toppings.

- For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken mixture with herbs.
