  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in diced apples.
  7. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. While the cake cools, whisk together apple cider and powdered sugar for the glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake before serving.
