Description
Delicious apple pie biscuits with a flaky crust and sweet apple filling.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour in milk and stir until combined.
- In another bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and lemon juice.
- Roll out the dough and cut into rounds.
- Place apple filling on half of the rounds and cover with remaining rounds.
- Seal the edges and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with ice cream for a treat.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Use any variety of apples you prefer.
