Description

Delicious apple pie biscuits with a flaky crust and sweet apple filling.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Pour in milk and stir until combined.
  5. In another bowl, mix apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and lemon juice.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into rounds.
  7. Place apple filling on half of the rounds and cover with remaining rounds.
  8. Seal the edges and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with ice cream for a treat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
