- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
Instructions
- Combine beef broth, red wine, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- If desired, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve warm with your favorite meats.
