Description

Authentic German frikadellen are savory meat patties made with ground meat, onions, and spices.


Ingredients

  • 250g ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot with your choice of sides.
