Baileys Irish Cream Truffles are decadent chocolate confections infused with the rich flavor of Baileys Irish Cream.
Ingredients

- 8 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Chopped nuts or sprinkles for coating (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes.
- Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Add the Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until firm.
- Using a melon baller or your hands, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll into balls.
- Dust the truffles with cocoa powder or roll in chopped nuts/sprinkles.
- Place the truffles in a refrigerator to set for an additional 30 minutes.
Notes
- For a different flavor, substitute Baileys with other flavored liqueurs.
- Use milk chocolate for a sweeter truffle.
- Experiment with different coatings like crushed cookies or coconut.
