Description

A delicious dessert made with bananas, toffee, and cream on a biscuit base.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 400g sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
  2. Melt the butter and mix with the biscuit crumbs.
  3. Press the mixture into the base of a pie dish.
  4. Cook the condensed milk in a saucepan for about 1.5 hours until caramelized.
  5. Spread the caramel over the biscuit base.
  6. Slice the bananas and layer them on top of the caramel.
  7. Whip the cream until soft peaks form and spread over the bananas.
  8. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the pie for a few hours before serving.
  • Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
