Beef kofta kebabs served with tzatziki sauce
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- Wooden skewers (soaked in water)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne, breadcrumbs, and egg.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly using your hands until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold each portion around a soaked skewer to form elongated kebabs.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Cook the kebabs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
- For the tzatziki sauce, mix 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1/2 cucumber (grated and drained), 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve the kebabs hot with tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
- Adjust spices according to your preference.
- For a smoky flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika.
- Serve with pita bread and fresh vegetables for a complete meal.
