Description
Beef Stroganoff with Creamy Mushroom Sauce served over Egg Noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
- Increase heat to medium-high and add beef strips. Season with salt and pepper, cook until browned.
- Sprinkle flour over beef and stir to coat. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until fully combined. Heat through but do not boil.
- Serve beef stroganoff over egg noodles.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use a combination of cremini and shiitake mushrooms.
- Try adding a splash of white wine for depth.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for color.
