Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Let the loaf rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Make slashes on top of the loaf and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.
