These are the best ever butterscotch chocolate chip cookies. Soft, chewy, and packed with flavor.

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt.
- Add vanilla and eggs to the butter mixture, mixing well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in butterscotch chips and chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container for freshness.
- You can substitute half of the chocolate chips with nuts if desired.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
