Ingredients

  • 500g bread flour
  • 350ml water
  • 100g active sourdough starter
  • 10g salt

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and water in a bowl. Let it autolyse for 30 minutes.
  2. Add sourdough starter and salt. Mix until combined.
  3. Bulk ferment for 4 hours, stretching and folding every hour.
  4. Divide the dough into 3 pieces and shape into baguettes.
  5. Let them proof for 2 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
  7. Score the tops of the baguettes.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

  • Ensure your sourdough starter is active.
  • Allow the baguettes to cool before slicing.
