- 2 mahi mahi fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon (for juice)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over high heat.
- In a bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the mahi mahi fillets evenly with the spice mixture.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering.
- Place the fillets in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through.
- Remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add more cayenne pepper.
- Let the spices sit on the fish for at least 15 minutes before cooking for better flavor.
- Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
