- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices of bread (your choice)
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Butter for toasting
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Add bacon slices and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, crack the eggs. Cook sunny-side up or to your preferred doneness.
- Season eggs with salt and pepper.
- Toast the bread in the skillet using butter until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwich: place bacon on one slice of bread, top with egg and cheese, then cover with the second slice.
- Return the sandwich to the skillet and press down slightly. Cook for 2 minutes on each side to melt the cheese.
