Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, water, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
- Incorporate eggs and butter. Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Shape into buns and place on a baking sheet.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use milk instead of water.
- Brush with egg wash before baking for a shiny finish.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
