Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Roll out the dough and cut into donut shapes.
- Let the donuts rise for another 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry donuts until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and coat with sugar or glaze as desired.

- Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying.
- Donuts can be filled with jam or cream if desired.
