- 200g rolled oats
- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- Optional: chocolate chips or dried fruit
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter, sugar, and golden syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
- Stir in the rolled oats until well combined.
- If using, add chocolate chips or dried fruit.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tray and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for later use.
