Description
A delicious buffalo chicken calzone filled with spicy chicken and cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 package pizza dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce.
- Add mozzarella and ricotta cheese to the chicken mixture.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into circles about 6 inches in diameter.
- Place a scoop of the chicken mixture on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape.
- Seal the edges with a fork.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the calzones.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your taste.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
- These calzones can be frozen before baking.
