A creamy and nutty butter pecan ice cream recipe.
Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped pecans and toast until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Stir in the toasted pecans and butter mixture.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use more butter.
- Make sure to chill the mixture thoroughly before churning.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
