Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pearl sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla to the flour mixture.
- Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until combined.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Fold in the pearl sugar.
- Preheat the waffle maker.
- Scoop dough onto the waffle maker and cook until golden brown.
