Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • 1 package candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions.
  3. Bake the cake in a greased pan.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cake into a bowl.
  6. Add frosting and mix until combined.
  7. Form small balls from the mixture.
  8. Chill the balls in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  9. Melt the candy melts in a microwave.
  10. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melts and insert it into each ball.
  11. Dip each ball into the melted candy and swirl to coat.
  12. Decorate with sprinkles before the coating hardens.
  13. Place the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to set.
