Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine applesauce, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Blend dry and wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Fold in diced apples.
  6. Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before drizzling with caramel sauce.
