- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
- Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add baking soda and salt. Mix until combined.
- Gradually add flour. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the caramel sauce and espresso.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for best flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Top with extra caramel sauce before serving.
