A delicious recipe for caramel macchiato cookies that combines rich coffee flavor with sweet caramel.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee or espresso powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and instant coffee.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and caramel sauce.
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- Allow cookies to cool completely before drizzling with additional caramel sauce.
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of instant coffee.
