Description

This dip combines caramelized onions and gruyere cheese for a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, gruyere cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add caramelized onions to the cheese mixture and stir well.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Serve warm with bread or crackers.
