Description
This dip combines caramelized onions and gruyere cheese for a rich flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, gruyere cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add caramelized onions to the cheese mixture and stir well.
- Transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until bubbly.
- Serve warm with bread or crackers.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
