Description
A refreshing cardamom plum sorbet that combines sweet plums with aromatic cardamom for a unique dessert.
Ingredients

- 4 cups ripe plums, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until sugar dissolves.
- Add chopped plums, cardamom, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until plums soften.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Puree the mixture in a blender until smooth.
- Chill the puree in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe plums for the best flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the plums.
- Store the sorbet in an airtight container.
