Description
Carne asada street style tacos are flavorful and satisfying. They feature grilled beef served in soft tortillas with fresh toppings.
Ingredients

- 1 lb flank steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Marinate the flank steak with olive oil, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice the steak into thin strips.
- Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the steak strips in the tortillas.
- Top with chopped cilantro and diced onions.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning according to preference.
- For extra flavor, add salsa or avocado.
- Can substitute flank steak with other cuts of beef.
