Ingredients

- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the flour and stir to make a roux, cooking for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and stir in the cheese until melted.
- Combine the cheese sauce with the cauliflower in a baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
- You can add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
- Try using different types of cheese for varied flavor.
