Description

A healthy alternative to traditional pizza crust made from cauliflower.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into florets.
  3. Pulse the florets in a food processor until they resemble rice.
  4. Microwave the riced cauliflower for 8 minutes on high.
  5. Let it cool and then squeeze out excess moisture using a clean cloth.
  6. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
  7. Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet into a pizza shape.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  9. Add your favorite toppings and bake again until cheese is melted.
