Description
A hearty and delicious cheeseburger tater tot casserole.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned.
- Drain excess fat and add salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
- Add the beef mixture and half of the cheddar cheese to the soup mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with frozen tater tots.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
Notes
- Serve with ketchup or mustard if desired.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
