A comforting cheesy cabbage casserole that is simple to make and delicious.
Ingredients

- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil chopped cabbage for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the drained cabbage to the mixture and stir well.
- Layer half of the cabbage mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the cheddar cheese over the cabbage mixture.
- Repeat with the remaining cabbage mixture and cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- You can use different types of cheese if desired.
- This casserole can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
