Cheesy Mississippi Mud Potatoes are a rich and creamy side dish loaded with flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup of cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 cup of green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, milk, sour cream, and ranch seasoning to the potatoes.
- Mash the mixture until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in half of the cheese and half of the bacon.
- Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese and bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.

- Feel free to adjust the cheese variety to your taste.
- Can add more toppings like jalapeños for extra flavor.
