Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, and almond extract.
  3. Pour the cherry mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Dots butter on top of the filling.
  5. Cover with another pie crust or make a lattice top.
  6. Cut slits in the crust for steam to escape.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the filling is bubbly and crust is golden.
  8. Cool before serving.
