Description

A simple and delicious chicken and rice dish made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of uncooked rice
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the uncooked rice in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken breasts on top of the rice.
  3. Mix cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a bowl, then pour over the chicken.
  4. Add the frozen mixed vegetables.
  5. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once cooked, shred the chicken and mix everything together before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
  • Use brown rice for a healthier option, but increase cooking time.
